The best B&B we’ve ever stayed in! The rooms were absolutely fabulous, spotlessly clean and offered everything you could ask for. Views were amazing as was the service, amenities and breakfast. We will be back. As a side note the cat ?? was beautiful and I fell in love ?? Lorraine & Steve, England ??????????????

Einfach alles war unglaublich. Das ganze Haus ist stilvoll eingerichtet, egal ob die etwas niedriger eingelassene Kaminecke, oder der gesamte Eingangsbereich. Unser Zimmer lag direkt neben dem allgemeinen Bereich und hatte wie alle im Haupthaus liegenden Zimmer eine eigene Terrasse mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf das Meer und die gegenüberliegende Küstenlinie. Der kleine Privatstrand, erreichbar durch eine Holztreppe, bot eine super M?glichkeit einfach die Seele baumeln zu lassen und dabei Seel?wen, m?wen, Seenerze und Wei?kopfseeadler zu beobachten. Feuerstellen sind dort vorhanden und es besteht die M?glichkeit Boards zu paddeln zu nehmen. Das Frühstück wurde in eine Holzbox zur gewünschten Uhrzeit morgens ins Zimmer gebracht und war jeden Tag ein Highlight. Die Host waren eigentlich nie wirklich wahrzunehmen, obwohl immer erreichbar und super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine echte Perle ist das Snug Harbour Inn und definitiv eine wenn nicht gar die Empfehlungen dort.

Snug Harbour Inn (SHI) is a special place. So much is perfect about it. The co-owners, Marc & Jessica, are the consummate hosts; the location of the inn is magnificent, perched as it is on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, while nestled in old growth forests, & within easy walking distance to wondrous nature trails, as well as local beaches. Indeed Snug Harbour Inn has its very own private beach with a magical stairway down to it. Guests have access to this facility & most are eager to take advantage of this privilege, many lighting a fire, watching the sun set or rise, sitting on logs washed up on the beach, most certainly sipping or nibbling, while doing so. It is also easy walking distance from the ocean village & the pubs & restaurants of which there are a good few serving good food. As well this ocean village of Ucluelet has its own brewery, which crafts delicous brews. SHI has six well appointed suites, four of them in the main building, & two in separate units in the forest. Guests get a full breakfast, which is varied & delicious, & which can be eaten in one’s room or at a communal dinning table. There is a sauna & hot tube out looking over the ocean. It is adult only, so as to offer a place of peaceful & romantic respite. It has bicycles one can use free of charge, as well as paddle boats. It also has a great set of powerful binoculars to view the wild life that populates the sky & the ocean. Yes, indeed a very special place is Snug Harbour Inn. I recommend it without hesitation. We had high hopes for our 4 night stay and these were fulfilled and some. Everything about the Inn is top class, and we felt very much at home due to the warmth and kindness of the hosts. We would always choose to return if we visited Ucluelet again. The facilities are excellent and the breakfasts are delightful and varied.

Wishing we could have booked for more than two nights but we booked 10 days before arrival, and we were lucky to get the two nights that we did! Looks like the innkeepers may have changed since last year, but Jori (sp?) and his wife were fantastic. Jori is extremely knowledgeable on the area and things to do – we really appreciated his input on hikes, and he had great suggestions. The Inn is perfectly maintained with great beds and views – looks just like the photographs. It is located in a great neighborhood, and we walked to town as needed. My husband saw the neighborhood bear, but I did not ?

What a beautiful stay - magnificent views, very charming hosts, great property with incredible sauna (what a view!) Downtown a 15’ walk or take the free of charge bikes. Delicious breakfast and a convenient guest laundry. Thanks for 3 lovely days/nights!

Une vue à couper le souffle est seulement le début de l’expérience au Snug. Vous serez accueillis dans un salon/salle a manger chaleureux avec la vue sur la petite baie, on croirait une peinture du groupe des 7. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables. Les déjeuner sont succulents et les h?tes Mishka et Jordy sont affables, avenant et ont de très bons conseils pour les excursions et les restaurants. Notre séjour de 4 nuits a passé beaucoup trop vite, nous planifions déjà d’y revenir. Bains tourbillons, saunas avec vue,paddleboard et vélos nous avons tout essayé. Merci.

Al bij ontvangst kom je ogen tekort; de gemeenschappelijke ruimte met groot terras en hot tub heeft uitzicht op de baai. Onze kamer met hetzelfde uitzicht met privé terras was een verademing. Het ontbijt was een verrassing en zeer origineel verpakt. Een lange trap naar het privé strand maakt het plaatje compleet!

We loved this elegant cozy inn on its private beach! We started our days with incredible culinary presentations and pairings, served by our lovely, intuitive hosts Sue and Scott. They provided local info re the beaches, catch and release acquarium, salmon hatchery and more. The rooms were clean and spacious with huge windows, porches, close ocean views, king beds, fridges, heated bathroom floors with large showers... I loved finishing our days in the sauna then hot tub, both overlooking the ocean. A great place to stay.

This place is magnificent. I’ve travelled a lot and this rates among the top 10 places to stay. Huge rooms, individually decorated, with comfortable beds. Sue and Scott are easy going hosts serving well thought out breakfasts. Who knew salad was for breakfast. Sauna with a view over the water and a hot tub were so appreciated after days of beach combing. Lots to do too including access to bikes and paddle boards. Hope to stay here again.
